Visit the Azores

The Azores are an unspoilt natural paradise in the heart of the Atlantic, distinguished by their exceptional biodiversity.

Each island has its own unique natural wonders.

The island of Sao Miguel, the largest, has lush gardens and thermal springs.
There are vast green meadows, spectacular cliffs and crystal-blue crater lakes.
Its shades of green create an ensemble of light, extraordinary landscapes, cliffs, volcanic lakes, pastures and craters. An untamed, grandiose wilderness.

Hiking trails wind their way through beautiful volcanic landscapes.
Don't miss the sea excursions to see dolphins, sperm whales and various types of majestic whales.

You can also discover museums, baroque churches and charming fishing villages.

The Azores also offer excellent gastronomic products, such as seafood, tasty cheeses and world-renowned wines.

Sao Miguel, the green island, is famous for its volcanic lakes, botanical gardens and Furnas hot springs. The Sete Cidades lake, Portugal's 2nd wonder, with its emerald and turquoise waters, is a sight not to be missed.

There are also many beautiful beaches to discover, including the splendid Populo beach in Sao Roque, Agua de Alto beach, Ribeira Quente beach and the surfing beach of Santa Barbara, surf paradise.
